Dexterity is the term referring primarily to the ability of a individual to "gracefully" coordinate their movements. It specifically refers to adeptness in a hands. In that context, manual dexterity occurs as motor skill. A term can too refer to intelligence and "mental dexterity".
Manual dexterity, in the previous feel, occurs as primary attribute of the Dungeons & Dragons fictional characters, and was later adapted to be used as an attribute of characters in many video games, namely role-playing games.
